TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1(WEEK 3)

 13/11/2023

Today we went to school after the exam break.I felt so excited to meet my students after a long time.As usual we reached the school before the prayer and went to principal’s chamber to see ma’am.ma’am welcomed us again with all the love she had before.After that we met other teachers from the staff room.Pratheep sir assigned me the first period and I took the portion demerits of preference shares to students.after that I got another period during the 4th hour,then I taught the difference between equity shares and preference shares to students.

14/11/2023

Today is the tenth day of my teaching practice.I reached school by 8.40 today.Today as Pratheep sir was on leave,vice principal Biju sir assigned me the forth period.Today I introduced the concept of retained earnings to my students.I also utilised the hour to teach merits of retained earnings.After that I got the sixth  period again,so I conducted the pre planned  diagnostic test to check gaps in students learning

15/11/2023

Today as usual I arrived at school catching our regular bus.After signing on the attendance register ,we made our way to staff room.Today,I got the second period assigned.My peer Justeena Shaji observed my class today.I taught demerits of retained earnings in the class.After observing my class my peer gave me some valuable suggestions and appreciated my teaching methods.It was a nice day indeed.

Today also i arrived at school early before the school prayer.Today I got the sixth period.I taught the topic debenture to students.As it is a complex topic I was well prepared to teach.I have prepared some interesting examples to transact the concept.With the help of those examples , I could explain the concepts with complete satisfaction.

17/11/2023

Today i reached the school by 8.50 am.I got two periods today.First period and the third period.On the first period I conducted a remedial teaching as per the diagnostic test conducted earlier.and on the third period i took the portion types of debenture to students.Today I felt good as I could clarify the portion which students faced difficulties through remedial teaching.

 12/06/2024 Today marked the beginning of the second phase of my teaching practice.Thus,it was a day filled with anticipation and excitement. Upon reaching school we met principal mam first and went to staff room,where we saw all other teachers after the long break.
