Community Living Camp-CLP

 The community living camp, an integral part of the B.Ed curriculum,serve as a pivotal experience in conscientizing prospective teachers about the profound significance of community based activities.

Aim of CLP:

* To conscientize prospective teachers about the significance of community based activities.

* To enhance capacities to live successfully by facing the life challenges.

* To internalize human values to maintain social harmony.

* To equip the self to demonstrate social skills in personal and professional platforms.

* To contribute for the social upliftment through professional activities.

Our community living camp started by 05/01/2024.

The programme was named “Kathal - Embrace the essence”. This name signifies a commitment to embrace and understand the essence with in an individual.

The 5 day’s program had five sub themes viz Bhoomika, Koode, verukal, Disha and Nabhassu.

DAY -1

Bhoomika : Resounding The Resilience.

The term ‘Bhoomika’ originates from Sanskrit.It translates to earth or soil. It symbolises the foundation upon which the resilience is build.The theme was selected as it highlights and celebrate the strength and perseverance of individuals. It focus on enduring hardship and transforming them into opportunities for growth.

Day -2

Koode:Nourishing The Bliss

Koode signifies companionship and unity.This theme highlighted the importance of building meaningful relationships.

Day -3

Verukal :Share ,Grow , Grab

The theme for the third day was Verukal.The term Verukal translates to roots.the concept of roots signifies the theme of sharing,growth and grasping.

Day -4

Disha: Bus Of Bliss

Disha is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘direction’ or ‘Guidance’.it symbolises the idea of setting a course towards a desired destination whether personal or professional.

Day -5 

Nabhassu :The Boundless Rowing 

The word Nabhassu means sky or heaven.The term capture the vastelness and expansiveness of the sky,often invoking a sense of boundless space and freedom.This theme encourages contemplation on the limitless nature of dreams ,aspirations,and the journey of life itself,drawing a metaphorical connection between the expansive sky and the rythmic motion of rowing.Hence it was chosen has the last days theme.
